Compatible with many refrigerators with an automatic ice maker or water dispenser, we recommend that this Refrigerator Water Filter be replaced every 6 months to ensure clean, fresh-tasting drinking water. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. Recommended Item: Copper Ice Maker Water Line Kit (item 8003RP). Includes 15' long 1/4" diameter copper tubing, drill type saddle valve, and all necessary hardware.
